A formal interview covers six core questions with follow-ups based on the depth of your answers. Most sessions take 25-45 minutes. The demo uses three shorter questions.

You can upload PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown files up to 10 MB. Mianba extracts the text and identifies skills, roles, and projects. If structured parsing fails, you can still review and edit the extracted text.

Your resume is used to generate relevant questions, follow-ups, coaching, and resume suggestions. It is not published, sold, submitted to employers, or shared with recruiters. Remove any personal details you do not want processed before uploading.

No. A job description helps Mianba compare role requirements with your experience and prioritize likely gaps. Without one, the interview uses your target role and resume context.

Follow-ups test whether you can explain evidence, tradeoffs, ownership, and edge cases. A strong interview answer needs more than a definition, so Mianba challenges vague claims instead of moving on immediately.

Deep Dive puts more pressure on technical reasoning, tradeoffs, failure modes, and implementation boundaries. Standard difficulty keeps the pace broader and more supportive.

When the first-round score reaches the qualifying threshold, a second round can focus on the weaker dimensions found in that report. The final view compares both rounds.

Yes. Allow microphone access, record up to 120 seconds, and review the transcript before submitting. You can always type or edit the answer instead.

When “Use past performance” is enabled, new interviews can prioritize recurring weak areas and reduce repeated questions. You can turn this off in Account settings.

Reports include an overall score, competency breakdown, per-question feedback, answer gaps, and a recommended next step. The score is a practice signal, not a hiring prediction.

Focused Practice turns a diagnosed weakness into a short drill. After a drill, Mianba recommends whether to continue similar practice, review an answer, or retest in a full interview.

Yes. You can create a public, revocable link from a report. Anyone with the link can view that shared snapshot, so review its contents before sharing.

Each plan includes monthly limits for interviews, resume tools, and AI coaching. Current limits and prices are listed on the Plans page. Focused drills use interview allowance.

Online subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You can cancel or restore renewal from Subscription & Billing; access normally continues through the end of the paid period.

Open Subscription & Billing. Invoice links appear next to eligible paid orders, while payment-method changes open a secure billing page.

Refund eligibility is described in the Terms of Service. Contact [email protected] with your account email and payment date.

Open Account settings to download a JSON export or permanently delete the account. Individual resumes and interview records can be deleted from their libraries.
